I have the right to remain silent. I learned that anything I say and do will be used against me in a judicial committee.

i know my rights. Ha.

For now I just drink my coffee.....put on my Sunday best....smile and listen to a load of bunk mixed in with some niceties.

So guess what? I am doing the same thing that people all over this world do In their crummy religion.

Here is an idea. What if we all went ....then when something stupid was said we could all raise our hands and question it. There would be to many of us For them to disregard.

primarily its the younger ones 35 and under vs older ones.

i dont know if its just my friends or everyone but they are obsessed with jw.org.

List of false cause/effect relationships the WTS has asserted

the recent thread on the expirimental physicist, where they strongly imply that evolution is taught only as a part of some grand atheist agenda, got me thinking.

once you really step back and look at it, there are a lot of cause/effect relationships that are presented by the wts that are completely false, or at least very misleading.

atheism caused the theory of evolution to gain prominence.. "the corruption of christendom is the leading cause of atheism" (heard at the recent convention at least twice).

Ok I was watching national geographic a looooong time ago and there was a remote tribe that did believe that stroking the babies genitals made them sleep.

I am still disturb 10 years later....

Does the GB feel like this is the way of saying "hey pagan tribes of small islands stop doing that and become a JW!

I am sure if you peel the veil on that tribe there is serious incest and sexual abuse happening.

So if they handed that absurd magazine to that tribe of pagans does the GB feel believe they would stop?

just a thought--with the new packaging--will the bruvvers soon be known as jw.organs ?.

our last midweek meeting was going along as planed, then after the last talk, an elder was called up to say: member x is no longer a jw, please sing.... after the song it was silent (compared to todays were people started talk right away) and the father had his head down with someones hand on his back.

i didn't catch what they were saying, but the pose said: i'm sorry for your loss.. it was a weird night thinking how leaving a religion could couse such sadnness.. jw.org.
